Principle
Based on the law of conservation of energy, the energy when the pendulum impacts the bottle is determined by its potential energy of where it was hung. When the pendulum is hung at a certain angle, its potential energy is corresponds to particular value, and the impact energy on the bottle does too. By using the conversion relationship of the pendulum’s hanging angle and its impact energy of pre-defined energy values, we can release it and observe whether the bottle was damaged or not.
